Band Bios…..
Brian Layman …. As lead guitarist, vocalist and composer, Brian’s experience and energy help form the cohesiveness of R.F.C. His lyrics can be rock ‘n roll or subdued as in several evocative ballads. Brian varies his styles so intuitively you tend to experience what he’s trying to convey.
Al Parquette…. Al has many titles.. Producer, engineer, composer, vocalist and has many years of performing experience. He plays multiple instruments.. Guitar, lap steel, bass, keyboards and trombone. Al works very well with others to get the best possible end product.
Ken Kwasnik…. Ken grew up in Chicago learning life the hard way. He would often hang around juke boxes tryin’ to get an extra spin for his buck. Upon his decision to learn music, Ken designed his own elastic juice harp out of his old socks. When played, it was music to his ears. Later he sold hair clippings to the local salon for money to buy sheet music and almost went bald in the process. Ken furthered his studies procuring a boom box and sandals and walked the countryside listening to music and gesturing rude motorists. Some of the more renowned bands he played in.. Uncle Luke and the Janitors, Liquor Pigs(hard/punk rock) and Symbologic (meditation music). One day while having tea and crumpets in a coffee house, Ken ran into Brian and began discussing a return to jam with old friends. Ken can now be seen sporting a full head of hair doing vocals and playing keyboards for R.F.C.
Roger Mahnke…. Roger was born a bass player. Listening to music, it was the bass that he keyed in on. The way the Beatles changed music and especially how Sir Paul changed the way the bass could be played made bass exciting. Later being exposed to Squire, Rutherford and Pastorius sealed the deal on Rogers instrument of choice. Roger played with Brian early on in Destiny but as they got older, both went separate ways. After several years they came back to where it began, thus the band name. Return Full Circle.
Frank Stauffer…. It’s been Franks fortune to play in a wide variety of musical settings. He has spent time in both studios and on the road, performing a complete range of music, from covers to originals, publishing to jingles. Frank feels the importance of not only delivering solid time, but to elevate to the deeper musical core.
